I use castrol silicon fluid in my 71 for both the brakes and cluth, I have had it in there for 5 years (not the same fluid). I am using the redesigned MC seals and all others are just moss seals. I have never had any problems with the fluid negatively affecting the seals or flex lines (original ones) on any part of the car, it could be luck or it could just be a good fluid I don't know.
