Hi, Dan,
Just FYI, I wrote an article on this car for 'Practical Classics' in '93
or 94'.
It is a Radford Cooper and was actually a hatchback conversion-claimed
to be the first hatch. It also had chain driven electric widows, hide
interior, a walnut dash and Wilton Carpets.
When I wrote my piece, the car had just been restored by the Naylor
Bros. in Yorkshire. It had been transported back by sea from some show
appearances in the US and had got loose in the container. Every single
panel was damaged and there was also quite a lot of rust.
I didn't drive it but on the way to the photo location-the car (with Al
Naylor driving) was very nearly totalled by a modern Vauxhall.
BTW, I understand there is more than one 'Ringo' car.
Cheers,
Dave Hill
