I purchased a new front spoiler of the type fitted to the '80 LE models, and I'm wondering what the best method to attach it to the front valance would be. I could either drill pilot holes, and self-tapping screws, or possibly some high quality double sided tape. How were they originally fitted? I'm afraid of the tape method coming unstuck over time, and the screws might crack the plastic unless I fit a large washer under the head. Calvin Krug |
