There is one other benefit of aluminum heads. Because of better heat transfer properties, they are capable of handling higher compression ratios on the same octane street gasoline without detonation or pinging that the standard iron heads. This will definintely put a littl more pep into you B. It's also more cost effective than converting to the cross flow heads. You don't have to by new carbs and manifolds, just use the old stuff.
