Charley, Had the same problem with my '69 model. Bought one of the spin on adapters but discovered that the fitting for the oil cooler hose was rotated 90 degrees and my stock hose would not fit. I noted in a Moss catalog that there are a number of different lengths of hoses for MGB oil coolers. I did some cautious measurements and bought one of the hoses that was significantly longer than the original hose. It worked like a champ - even the routing looks normal as can be.
