I thought I would have the BGT on the road for the first time this
weekend. It's just not to be. When the machine shop pressed in the cam
bearings they neglected to line-ream them to size. Then I come along in
my haste to get it back together and used more force than needed to put
the cam in and damaged the bearings. It was just a LITTLE tap with a
dead-blow. And I was SO careful not to scratch the bearings with the
lifter lobes. I'm throwing away ALL of my hammers... stupid, stupid,
stupid.
