Hello-
I was hoping to be able to make my own brakelines, bought a roll of line
at NAPA and a tubing bender.
Come to find out I shhould have done a little more homework before going
out and indulging my tool addiction.
The NAPA guy told me later that a tool to make bubble flares is a
spedial order at over $80!
But, I read in an SOL tech article by a Chris Kantarjiev that you can
make a bubble flare using the same (much cheaper and more available)
tool that makes double flares.
Any of you folks had any experience with this? Before I spend $30 to $40
on a flaring tool, I better check to see that I'm not better off just
buying new pre-made lines from Moss or somebody.
And where do you get fittings? Moss doesn't show them--can you re-use
the old ones as a rule?
Thanks for any help you can give me on this.
