I had to clean the gas tank in the P-car some time ago. I called my
local Brit car specialist. He is familiar with the material from Moss,
and Eastwood. He didn't like the stuff. He referred me to a good
radiator shop in the Memphis area, and told me to buy a gas tank sealer
from them. Instead of the puny 1 pint of sealer from Moss and Eastwood,
I bought 2 quarts of some stuff from the radiator shop. I can't
remember the name of the product, but it was for professionals only, and
it stunk to high heck. It has some serious volatile compounds in
there. Use only in open air.

Also, I'm not sure if the Eastwood stuff is highly resistant to the
additives in gas these days.

The stuff I bought was $40 for two quarts. The guys at the radiator
shop swore by it. They have done numerous old cars and said they never
had a single problem.

If anyone has interest, I can get the name of the product.

Take care
Jay

BTW. My 22 gallon tank used one quart of the stuff. The MG tank should
be easily coated with the single quart. Make sure you use MEK or
acetone to remove the varnish from the tank. You want absolute
cleanliness, and no moisture in the tank.
