Whoops, those numbers may be a little high. A low compression B series
engine should give around 135-140psi, while a high compression engine
should give 155-160. Also, the important thing to note when taking
compression readings (which can vary due to accuracy of gauge, technique,
cranking speed, etc.) is not necessarily the actual pounds psi but the
variation across the cylinders. For example, a reading of 130-125-130-135 is
a lot less reason for concern than 160-155-125-160.
