While under the car preparing it for the road, (see previous battery box
posting) I
noticed that the catalytic converter has a white deposit around the out side
of it perhaps
indicating that it was running hot. I also think that I remember thinking
same when
I had it on the road last.
My question is, how do I determine if the catalytic converter is running
hot, and if it is
would this be an indication of a lean carb setting ? What else might cause
it ?
I would hate to burn up the B because of a hot converter.
Thanks in advance,
