Yeah, Dan!! You have (seemingly) just run into a serious VDPO error.
The Whitworth AND metric nuts WILL start on a SAE bolt/stud. They will
grab a turn to a turn and-a-half. NOW the VDPO feels comfortable 'cause
he/she just thinks there is a "burr" and wrenching will clear it up.
*****NOT*****
Lots of folks figured that our LBCs had either Whitworth or Metric 'cause
they came from the other side of the "pond".
