Since NO one has addressed the correct answer, Rick here goes!!
a] the u-joints w/zerk have to be in yoke *right way round*;
b] the zerk HAS to be the correct one, i.e. approx. 1" long;
c] said zerk has to be free of *solidified* grease;
d] if *wrong way round* - don't matter - u-joint is already SHOT!!! 'cause
it has NEVER been lubed.
