tire size

I've got Dayton 60-spoke wires and (the DPO's) **HUGE** 195/75's on my 
MGB that rub on the passenger side during hard cornering. I'd like to 
replace them with something a bit more normal. The original 165's are a 
little too narrow for my tastes and I've been told that I'll probably 
have the same rubbing problem with the 185/70's that are often cited by 
the list. Any suggestions?
