I just finished "freshening" an MGB engine. I thought I would try to turn it over and check oil pressure before I install it in the car, the engine is presently on an engine stand. I'm looking for suggestions, and have thoughts of my own. 1 Throw 12 volts on the starter and letter crank. 2 Use a bolt on the distributor drive (5/16 fine?) and twist it with an impact wrench (wrong direction?). Any thoughts? Larry Hoy http://home.cwix.com/~larryhoy@cwix.com/ |
