They changed to an 18GJ in California in 1970. What I meant to say was an
18GJ was only for California - ie that motor prefix, emmissions mods (for
that year) was only available on cars sold in CA. You couldn't have bought
an 18GJ in Texas for example in 1970, I think it still would have been an
18GH or an 18GK perhaps.
