The MGC has been unfairly panned for years, but enthusiasts are starting to come around. I love 'em because: 1. They're rare, therefore a good investment 2. Despite their supposed handling flaws, they've always been rated as good tourers. As a result, the GT version is the perfect fit for body to car. 3. The performance (acceleration and top speed) beats the MGB, particularly the later-year emission-controlled versions. Buy it at any reasonable price. Steve Yaffe '68 MGCGT (automatic) |
