In my opinion, Tim, it isn't a good idea to try and straighten the lower
control arm pivot once it has been bent. We all know that flexing of most
materials weakens them (unles they are designed to flex, like a spring); I
prefer not to risk weakening the lower control arm by re-bending it. It's
not something you want to become brittle!
