In the 50's Datsun licensed a lot of stuff from BMC et al., the even made
some of the exact same cars in Japan. Can't remeber the models off of the
top of my head. But the heads are interchangable, the datsun unit has
smaller valves. Now they really silly part of the whole thing is that this
motor is still being used in lift truck and some other applications. A
friend of mine buys new datsun cams and the has them reground to his specs
for his wifes race car. He says they are more durable then the original
british cams, and they are very resonably priced. From what I understand
the rocker shaft will also work without a problem.

I have never used any of these parts myself, so use them at your own risk.

That's all of the semi usefull trivia for now,
Lane
