One other question. The kid wrote that he has a dog, some birds and a bunch
of yabbies. What the hell is a yabbie? (yabby?)

OF course, but only if you comply with the following :-)!

Now I am only copying this to the list because I want it on record that
you will send him back to Australia with a firm opinion about MGs - the
first comment to his people when he gets back will have to be something
along the lines of... "I loved the people & the country, but mostly I
loved the Little British Cars... and that is what I want for my 17th
birthday". Get him to get Neil Cotty up for a visit!

I don't know this place "Medowie"... but if it is north of Sydney then
you can ask him if he has had a beer at the Budgewoi Pub... ooops, only
14 years old, eh?

Ummm, in Australia all the kids of his age wear baseball caps the wrong
way 'round and follow all the big NBA teams, and swap basketball cards
and wear all the basketball and baseball gear... ooops, so do all the
American kids...! He should feel right at home.

Come on Neil... the kid is a New South Welshman... help me out here!
