Bill:

I hate to tell you, but what I wrote is exactly what I did to the
car. I should of included my method of removing MGA rear fenders. Take a
cutting torch and cut the fender on a line along the crown. This allows
easy access to the mounting bolts. A hammer and chisel can be used to
expose any bolts which have metal folded over them.

Needless to say, this MGA has been very badly damaged. It still has
to be seen if the center body and frame can be salvaged. 64,000 original
miles, but the frame appears to be bent in at least two places. The right
rear fender was folded beyond any repair techniques. The bumpers and front
valence were damaged and rusted beyond reasonable repair.

Kelvin. flame wrench in hand.
