Mike,
Some of the guys in our club have hooked up an overflow bottle to
collect the radiator fluid. They bought a new radiator cap (I forget
what it's called, but tell the guy that you want to match the pressure
requirement and that you want to hook up a coolant recovery bottle) and a
small Rubbermaid sipping bottle. Velcro on the bottle and on the fender
forward of the radiator, then route the hose to the bottom of the bottle
through the hole you drilled in the bottle's blue cap. Fill the radiator
to the top (no more 1" down from the neck) and it's self-tending ever
after, they tell me.
I've bought the bottle, the velcro and the tubing. Now all I have to do
is to do it.
