Hi Mike. I will copy the MG group in answering your question. Mr. Eastman (and
long-suffering bro-in-law) showed up at my place this AM, a day late, having
blown a clutch slave on their truck on the way. They ended up in Spokane, and
because the stores didn't open until noon on Sunday, they started it in gear
and made it to Everett Wash., before stopping to change the slave (which
apparently lives inside the bell housing). Having accomplished this in a
parking lot, they set out again for my place and made it this morning.
I stayed home and helped them load the XK150 on the trailer, in the truck, on
the back seat of the truck, etc. We got 3 engines into the truck, and it's
tires were notably lower at the end.
After being frisked for crossflow heads and Twincam wheels, they set out about
noon for parts East, and should show up in a couple of days.
Bill Will no doubt post an account of the great adventure as soon as he gets
home, unloaded, and sleeps (assuming he is let into the house when his wife
sees what he brought home.
