  If the front carb is grossly rich, that would explain
1, 2 and 3 being rich, especially #2.

  Often it turns out to be a stuck float or grit on
the seat for the float needle.

  When you turn the key and don't start the engine, does
the fuel pump keep ticking? If so, it could be flooding
this way.
