1. I very quickly learnt that when the DPO of my V8 had said about a
particular item "I don't use that" it was a euphamism for "it doesn't work".
2. The single moped horn, rather than find out why there was insuffuicient
voltage to operate the correct horns.
3. The engine mounting plates on the wrong sides that positioned the engine
just 1/2" too far forward, and as the rubber mounts settled the sump came to
rest on the cross-member, and eventually wore through.
