ford 2.0 litre in MGB

Dear Mg fans and owners:
I have a British 2.0 l ohc motor that I want to put in an MGB, so it 
isn't total sacrilige... Anyway, has anyone tried to do this? Also, is 
the deep part of the sump at the front of an MGB 4-cyl, or is it in the 
back of the motor?
