Rear shock replacement

Just got back from hour run on new rear tube shock and springs, Nice ride
tried
some nice winding roads and it handled well. Comfort leval is way up.
Now to tackle the tight steering box. Rack is very tight.only on ground.
Rebuilt complete front end this past winter. I never drove the car before
I got it . It was destined for the scrap heap , No rot but hit
everywhere, and engine blown ect.
Did complete rebuild on just about everything, Now its the racks turn,
any ideas. Carl E.
