Hi All.
this morning as I was working on my webpage, I accidentally hit the "Home
Base" button on my Compaq Presario 4770. The computer crashed and I was
unable to re-access windows or any other program for that matter. Luckily
Compaq distributes a CD called QuickRestore, which, in an hour, re-loads
every program which was on your computer when you bought it. Unfortunatley,
this inludes AOL, Netscape, and other programs which I have no use for. The
Catch: this cd also wipes out everything on your hard drive. The nice people
at Tech Support said it erases youre hard drive and reloads even Win. 95.
So, my collection of MG messages, which totalled 2981 last night, has been
reduced to the 6 I just recieved. If I have corresponded with you, or I am
currently corresponding with you, please send me a message so I can add you
