I have never heard anyone address this problem....
I am trying to put an 18v MGB engine in a 74 1/2 GT. The problem is the
motor mounts. The GT has the round motor mounts and the new engine has the
older
more square type mounts. Turns out apparently that you have to change the
front plate on the engine to switch motor mount types. I thought I would
mention it. There must be many that put B engines into As that have run
into this. Wish I had heard of this problem before it was to late......
The other problem is a switch, I think some type of neutral switch that was
on the old transmission but not on the new.... The old one had two
switches. I had heard people talk about this problem but did not listen to
good. What to do with the wires from the old car when the new tranny is put
in place.....?????????
