The TR spindle, which is dimensionally smaller than the MG one, doesn't use
shims. I doubt that it is any better steel, so while technically true, this
may not matter much in practice.
King pins now - ask me about snapping a king pin at 70 mph in a corner!. Not
recommended to improve your composure!
