Need a transmission for my girlfriends 71 MGB and have located several used
that are reported to be in good condition and will look at them this weekend.
Anyone have any tech tips for a Healey guy looking at a B transmission with
overdrive? Will look at the gears for wear, input shaft for play, etc., but
any tips would be appreciated. Asking price for all are about $600. What
operates the B overdrive? do I need any switches, throttle relays, etc.? Are
the driveshafts the same as some have said? (car is fitted with a non-
overdrive transmission now)
