Repair Panel

All,
  Has anyone replaced the nose of a MGA with the Moss repair panel (hood
surround)
and radiator duct (flat panel that rediator sits on)?  I'm going to do it but
I'm not too positive of it going smoothly yet.  Going to use a Lincoln MIG
but the
cutting and taking the front end apart scares me to death.  Any thought or 
experience would be appreciated.
