Just received a new front suspension rebuild kit. (Thanks Bud!) and while looking over the parts I noticed a nylock nut was supplied instead of the castle nut and cotter pin to secure the top. Is this the way to go or should I use the castle nut and drill the kingpin for a cotter? Also can the 0.02 clearance be shimmed in the shop or must the king pin and swivel be installed in the car? Thanks in advance! John (Lightmkr) 77B (Spread all over the house) |
