John Twist at university motors http://www.universitymotorsltd.com (see
tech tips - winter storage) suggests leaving the top up so it doesn't
shrink. Since my top is easily removable, I store it in a closet in the
house and put the hardtop on the car over the winter.

Subject: Top up /Top down?
Winter here in Oregon gets wet and cold, My 73B and 58A both enjoy being
stored indoors, the "A" is still being restored so this question is mute
for
it. should the top be stored up for the winter to keep it stretched or
would
it be more prone to splitting when cold? [the garage stays dry but not
always
warm] or should it be stored off the car till a nice warm spring day when
you
can strech it on safely?????
