Felt something "go" on the way home from a long trip in the TC. On a hunch, when I got home, I pulled out the differential to find a tooth on the pinion missing. I'm back on the road with my spare differential in. My question. Is it possible, through welding and re-cutting, for a repair to be made by an expert? (and who in Australia could do it!) I've seen the prices for a new crownwheel and pinion from the specialists..and they leave me a bit breathless! John Swanland Melbourne Australia TC 7557 |
