COMMENT ONLY...
              Surely if the seat are kaput, you only need to fit seat
inserts. In the UK this costs between £60 to £100 if you do all the
stripping and assembly yourself. The head is taken to a machine shop who
specialise in fitting unleaded seats. OR some rich people by exchange
heads that are already converted, swapping their old unit, costs about
£200. The UK MGOC does a roaring trade with these,

Post  October 1975, USA heads are all supposed to be suitable for
lead-free fuel. The casting number is 12H4735, seen under the rocker
shaft.
