with the current exchange rate (it would have been better for you a week
ago) maybe you should buy your MGF from Australia.  They sell here for a
similar price.  

With the Aussie dollar at around 1:2 with the US dollar you could save
yourself a few grand, including transport and RH/LH drive conversion!!

Wait a year for a second hand one and you are laughing!
