I think you are right on the price. At least start bargaining from $1K and
if he won't go lower than about $1500 go find a better prospect. If it's
been sitting that long it will take more $$$ than what you mentioned!

 The funny part?  He's asking $2,800!  What would you, the listers, think a
more appropriate price would be?  I'm thinking along the lines of
$1,000-$1,200.
