I go along with Neil about the sale price. The problem with the car is that
many
enthusiasts think that just because it's a "C" , parts are hard to come by,
which just ain't true. I recall a story about New Balance running shoes
(first
to be computer designed) which would not sell due to the price tag of $40.
After
some market research NB found that people wouldn't buy because they perceived a
cheap product. NB raised the price by $40 and couldn't make 'em fast enough. I
think it's the same with your MGC. $1500 seems like too little for a fair car
but too much for a parts car.....get my drift?
You may just sell the car by bumping the price ever so slightly and/or try a
more
national forum like Moss Motors Classic-fieds or Hemmings.
Good luck
