Hardtops for MGB

I am considering obtaining a hardtop for our 79 B.  
Would list members who have hardtops offer me their comments on the
following:

Ease of installation

Weather protection as compared to a new good quality softtop,
particularly in rain (it rains a LOT on the Oregon Coast in the winter
time.

Anything else that occurs to you.
