Boy. i'm torqued!

        ... by the fact that the Bentley and Haynes books have very few
torque values in them. After pulling the threads out of two jam nuts in
the midst of a valve adjustment last night, it seems like a good idea to
find a torque value for the jam nuts. Anybody have one (other than
"tight") ?
