Hi Chris, I'm mystified on the front bolt. I just did that job last weekend and mine came right out once I had the nuts off. Regarding the shocks, you say you pulled one down and it stayed there. That's OK, it's supposed to work that way. What it's supposed to do is offer stiff resistance to movement. The position you leave it in is where it'll stay. The springs do the bouncing, the shocks (dampers in England) try to damp the bouncing. Charley Robinson '69 B |
