Scott, my brother and I put a set of lowered springs on his '78 MGB-V8. The 1"
is definitely an understatement. I think it lowered his car almost 2". We
measured the heights of the flat panel in front of the radiator. On my '65 B,
the panel was 18" from the ground. My '70 B, with original suspension was 16"
from the ground, and my little bro's '78 B was 14.5" from the ground. This car
is much lower now. I can't comment on camber, and toe-in at this time. I
can't see how camber would not be changed.
With the larger sway bar on the front, and sticky Yokohama rubber on 15"
minilites, this car sticks to the road in incredible ways.
If you'd like, I can have my brother take some digital pictures of the front
end and post them on the web.
