14" wire wheels on a Midget ?

Is there a way to mount 14" MGB wire wheels on a Midget suspension
which is designed for 13" wire wheels.

The problem is that the center piece of the 14" wire wheels
touches the brake caliper (slightly) and rubs.

Is there a way to solve this problem ?
(Grinding ? Custom modification of wire wheels ? ... ?)

What is the required clearance between brake caliper and wheel ?
