In general, I believe it is best to rechrome original parts.  Even Moss agrees
with this, as I queried them as to whether I should rechrome my original
Healey stuff or buy repro.  The Moss sales rep I talked to said, without
hesitation, rechrome original parts if you have the chance.  The repro stuff
is adequate, but a rechromed original part will, if rechromed properly, be far
superior to a repro part.
