Everytime I leave this car, something gets messed up...
I came home to do some photos in my 'B for my yearbook. I went into the
garage and saw some stuff sitting on the boot lid. I pulled off the cover,
and it seems that a piece of crib had fallen from the rafters gouging the
living &^%# out of my bootlid. The paint wasn't just gouged, there were
METAL shavings near the wound. I was (and still am) sick and p*$$*d about
the whole thing. I dunno how it happened, it was no human work though. One
sucky accident though.
Anyway, here's the problem: the gouge broke through the skin of the boot,
along with engraving the paint. I can't repair the spot with bondo and get
it repainted; it has to stay as is until I get the whole car done. What I'd
like to do is patch the small hole to prevent water from leaking into the
boot and repair the paint. Any ideas on a simple, quick fix for this hole
before I can afford to get the bodywork done?
Any ideas or condolences will be accepted...
