Dear John,

The steering wheel for the pre-Oct 1960 cars was part number 1H6044,
that used after was 11H133. The olny difference was the boss was cast as
one on the later wheel, the early one was tow parts bolted together. The
wheel hub & horn ring does not appear to have changed according to my
parts lists at all. The actual 'ring' part is No. 47H5201, the numbers
you quote are the British Standards ( BS) numbers of the material they
are made from! The steering wheel is IDENTICAL to all the other Farinas,
AND the previous A55 Cambridge. The point of change was when the
ignition key moved to the dash panel.

The 'MG' plastic centre ( 47H5230 ) can be pressed out ( carefully) as
it is secured by three tiny spring clips. It will fit into any of the
other Farina centres.
