Interior trim: 64 MGB...question...

In my Heritage certificate it said the interior was red trim (it's a black
car) with a grey top.  My question is what exactly that red trim
constitutes.  I would like to put in red seats with white piping (along with
the red panels and carpeting which was still in the car), but I have no idea
if that would be correct.  Anybody have any info on that?
