I've found part of the problem on my rough-running but mostly-reassembled 76 B. The gasket that goes between the carb/induction heater/intake manifold is shot. I sprayed carb cleaner all over the manifold and it didn't rev up, but I sprayed it there and could hear the engine rev up significantly. Should I use the correct gasket there or will the much-maligned 'blue goo' work? It's almost there!! Tyson Sherman <http://www.tecinfo.com/~tsherman/> |
