The post from someone about checking with local freigt co.'s was
right on ( at least in my case). I checked on getting a engine shipped
from Indiana to Houston Tx. ( the whole thing), and the cost was about
$220. The shipper (frieght forwarding company, not the trucking company
doing the work) say's they get a 50% discount and will pass that along
to me. Total cost, about a $100. Check around your local area and
see what you can come up with. I'd check freight forwarders, import/
export firms etc., anyone who does a lot of long distance shipping.
