I am replacing the stock air filter assembly on my 64 B with the 1.5 inch
round K&N chrome filters. 2 questions come to mind:
1. Why is a connector between these not necessary like the stock filters
have? Or will it be needed and is it something I've got to make up on a once
off basis, in other words, not available somewhere?
2. The car has a set of the SU HS 4's with the 465 set-up like the 71 B's
had. therefore, I have the later type spring loaded needle, AAL. Will I have
to run a richer needle? Anyone have a clue as to which needle?
